Native Savannahians Brian and Becky West opened West Physical Therapy in 1990.  What began over 23 years ago with one physical therapy clinic is today West Rehab Services, Inc., comprised of multiple clinical centers, school-based services, and onsite industrial services in Southeast Georgia.  Also known as West Rehab and Sports Medicine, the mission of West Rehab is simple – to be your best choice.

Bios

 

Brian West, HSA, MBA, Administrator

Becky West, PT, President, Director of Rehabilitation

Brian and Becky West grew up in Savannah, GA where they attended Calvary Day School together.  Eventually becoming high school sweethearts, they went on to marry after finishing college.  Becky graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in physical therapy; Brian, from the University of Georgia with degrees in journalism and information systems.  They were the perfect team to create a physical therapy practice with Becky to treat the patients and Brian to run the business.  As they grew the company, Brian returned to the classroom and earned an MBA in healthcare administration from Georgia Southern University.  Today, Brian is Administrator and Becky is President of West Rehab.  They have three children, reside between Savannah and Tybee Island, and attend Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church.

Kris Duncan, Director of Billing and Collections Services

Kris Duncan joined the West Rehab team in 1993 as Fitness Center Manager.  Her extensive career with the company has seen Kris in roles as Marketing Director, Operations Officer, and Director of Billing and Collections Services.  Undaunted by challenges and always creative in her solutions, there is no one who better understands the complexities of running West Rehab.  Named one of Savannah Magazine’s Women in Business in 2012, Kris and her husband live in Guyton and have two sons, two grandsons, and two little dogs.

Kate Welch, MS PT, Director of Compliance

Kate Welch attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia on a basketball scholarship (Go Bears!) and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology.  The oldest of 4 children growing up in a Coast Guard family, she brings a love of systems and organization to West Rehab.  Kate joined the West Rehab team as a staff Physical Therapist in 2000 after graduating from Armstrong Atlantic State University with her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy.  Later, in 2004, she became Compliance Officer.  Currently, Kate oversees compliance, provides administrative support, and participates in special projects with other members of West Rehab’s management team.  Kate lives in Savannah with her husband and their three children.

 Allison

Allison Willis, Director of Marketing

Allison Willis brings fresh perspective and zeal to the tasks of marketing, branding, and advertising.  Originally from Columbus, Georgia, Allison graduated from Georgia Southern University.  She joined the West Rehab team in 2008 as Director of Marketing and applied herself to understanding the unique environment of healthcare.  “I absolutely love this company, the people I work for, and the services we provide … therefore, finding effective ways to spread the word about what we are doing here is very rewarding!” Allison is a board member of The Next Generation, a volunteer organization that raises funds for The Children’s Hospital.  Allison and her husband reside on Wilmington Island with their daughter.

 Brianna

Brianna Petrea, Director of Office Operations and Finance

Brianna Petrea, the newest member of West Rehab’s management team, joined the administrative staff in 2010.  Her careful attention to detail combined with high professional standards earned Brianna her current position.  Brianna credits a background in school fundraising with preparing her for this role.  Brianna attended Georgia Southern University.  She and her husband reside on Skidaway Island and have two children.
