 Meet Our Clinical Staff:

Office Manager:  Delores Cannady
Office Assistants:  Kim Eppley

Becky West, PT, President, Director of Rehabilitation
Georgia State University

Why did you choose Physical Therapy as your profession?   I became interested in it as a young child.  I had a friend who had to undergo multiple surgeries and rehab.  He alternated between crutches and the use of a wheelchair for many years, but ended up being able to run and play by high school.

Why WEST?  My husband, Brian, and I recognized a need for therapy services close to patient’s communities.  In 1990, we established West Rehab and we have continued our commitment to these communities.

Why should a patient choose you as their PT?  I feel patients should choose West Rehab because we have deep roots in the communities we serve.  We have been actively involved with these cities with our volunteer and Denim for Dollars program, and we have formed longstanding relationships over the past 27 years. My name is on the door, and if you have any questions or concerns, I will personally make sure these are addressed.

What’s an interesting fact about yourself?  I have a vast amount of experience in the field of Physical Therapy.  I can also skin a catfish and whistle loud enough to stop a train!

Kimberly_Cleland-150x150Why did you choose Physical Therapy Assisting as your profession?  I like working with people, this job allows me to work in lots of different clinics and meet many new people.

Why WEST?  WEST creates an environment for me to work with very knowledgeable clinicians, this allows me to treat our patients in a fun, friendly atmosphere and provide quality care for all my patients.

Why should a patient choose you as their PTA?  I have worked in an outpatient setting for 10 years, I enjoy working with pediatric and orthopedic patients.

What’s an interesting fact about yourself?  I am a member of the NHRA!

Brooke Jett, PTA

South University, 2015
Associates of Science Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting

Why did you choose Physical Therapy as your profession?  When I was younger I went through physical therapy after I broke my arm. It was such an amazing experience and the PT I worked with really made an impact on me. I knew I wanted to go into physical therapy as soon as I was old enough so I could make an impact on someone’s life just as my PT did in my life back then.

Why WEST?  As soon as you walk into an West Clinic, you feel comfortable and relaxed. I am all about working in a place that is professional, yet makes you feel welcomed at the same time.

Why should a patient choose you as their PT?  I believe that I have a special connection with each of my patients. I have (and always will) be an advocate for my patients and will make sure they are comfortable with the physical therapy experience.

What’s an interesting fact about yourself:  I have an identical twin sister named Blaire! She’s my best friend and we’re very much alike!

Nicole Sutton, OT

Tennessee State University, 2014
Masters of Occupational Therapy

Why did you choose OT as your profession? I always knew I wanted to be in a rehab profession and help others.  I enjoy the mix of physical and social/emotional components related to care that occupational therapy emphasizes.   While earning my bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders at the University of WI I discovered a new interest – occupational therapy.  It gave me “the best of both worlds” with cognitive and psychological components from speech therapy and physical and technical aspects of physical therapy.  I enjoy working with children and adults.  It’s a great mix.

Why WEST? West Rehab is a great environment with caring clinicians and a supportive staff.  They work hard to ensure we as clinicians are up to date on the latest research by providing opportunities for professional development.

Why should a patient choose me as their OT? I have experience treating children with developmental delays as well as adults with orthopedic injuries of their hand, elbow, and shoulder.  I enjoy the unique challenges that hand therapy patients give and I love how silly I get to be with the kiddos.

Interesting fact about me: I’m originally from Wisconsin.  Yes, I love cheese.  Yes, I LOVE the Packers/Badgers.
